Is it just me, or did the Vote doohicky go away?
Orion
I can see/access it just fine Orion.
I can see the hickey too Orion. LOL
Wow, there are some good photos there. My only complaint is that most of them are related to war, and, to me, patriotism is about far more than war or military or suffering. But, that's just me. With that in mind, though, I vote for Orion's #2, the yin-yang. Yes, the names on the Wall (the Vietnam Wall in DC, Orion?), it also depicts peace and exemplifies the true nature of the symbol as well as the concept of patriotism. Good job, Jeff.
On the voting page it shows Melanie's pictures as a choice, I don't think I see them anywhere.
THere are some of us that weren't able to participate in this contest Randall who will be participating in others so their names are up but no pics this round.
SO where is the voting doohicky?
Go back to the original blog Phil...
http://judesgroupblog.blogspot.com/
you'll see it on the right hand side.
Actually TW, that's the Oregon Iraq/Afghanistan Memorial here in Salem, OR - very similar concept.
And thank you, that was exactly what I was going for!
Yah, I've fixed the link on my blog...The voter-link doesn't show on individual post-links, only on the main blog.
Orion
By the way, is this vote once, or the more Democrat vote early, vote often system? :-D
Orion
Well..... it should be one vote per voter. At least that's just my opinion. Otherwise it's a contest about who can vote the most, instead of which photo is best received.
This is the way I'm used to seeing it done, and normally the entrants don't vote for their own to "rack 'em up" either..... but like I said it's not just "my" blog! LOL
Maybe I'll take this over to the Phorum?
Oh theyre all so good!
I think it should be one vote per person. Like you said, anyone can sit and click the vote button endlessly and it's not fair to everyone. It doesn't show which photo is chosen...just who has friends with more time on their hands. It was a very tough choice for me, because I loved all the photos and most of the photogs are dear friends to me. But I chose which fancied me the most.
So I should turn off my auto-vote program that is clicking in one vote every 1/10th of a second? For me?
Hmmm...Hadn't thought of the whole 'fair' thing...Drat. ;-)
Thanks for the clarification! (And for the record, I've only voted once)
Orion
I haven't voted at all, but I guess if the other entrants are voting I should too.
Hmmmm now which one.....? I'm kinda partial to that particularly heathen red and white one.... LOL
Wonderful, fun idea! They're all stunning shots by some veddy talented photogs. It was difficult to choose, but
I did vote for just one :D
xoxo
So...How long is voting open for?
Orion
I think we agreed a week Orion.
Entrants please see the forum, need your input.
